The Halcyon Eclipse wing: Think of it as a Pioneer wing gone to the gym. Halcyon builds the Eclipse’s outer shell from 1680-denier ballistic nylon. We then add an inner bladder constructed from the same puncture-resistant 400-denier Nylon inner-bladder material used in the Explorer. In other words, the Eclipse is a low profile, exploration-grade wing that leaves all other single tank designs in its shadow. Streamlined. Ruggedized. Another example of Halcyon taking the game to the next level.

The Eclipse wings share the Pioneer’s long, narrow, wing profile to support the diver’s tank along his or her entire length, preventing unnecessary drag and minimizing effort. A circular zipper around the inside of the wing allows for easy inspection and replacement of the interior bladder.

Eclipse wings require a single tank adapter to mount with your Secure Harness backplate system. Pioneer wings continue to utilize Halcyon’s adapter-free design and only require a set of Halcyon cam straps for mounting.

Order as a package with your choice of stainless steel or aluminum backplate, the single-tank adaptor and the Storage Pak, or order individual components to allow you to tailor your configuration to the day’s dive.

Halcyon offers the Explorer wing for double tank diving. Explorer wings have been slightly modified for even greater streamlining and efficiency. The new Explorer wing is slightly narrower and longer, with a reduced buoyancy tube behind the neck to minimize heads-up trim. In addition, the inflator elbow is now located in the back center of the wing to eliminate hitting the tank neck during full inflation.

Halcyon’s Explorer wing is still made from the most rugged materials available for a buoyancy compensator. The new 400 denier Cordura bladder has a tighter weave and is therefore more puncture resistant than a broad weave. The Explorer’s 1680 ballistic nylon outer shell is designed for maximum abrasion resistance. The two materials used together offer the best protection from damage in any wing design.

Divers are discovering that lift bags are useful for much more than just salvage and underwater lifting. Halcyon’s lift bags can be inflated through a low pressure inflator hose and feature a one-way valve to ensure that the bag will maintain lift all the way to the surface.

Whether used as a marker device while at depth, supplemental surface flotation, or as a signaling device, lift bags provide an added margin of safety and comfort. Halcyon lift bags fold so small they can store in the Halcyon thigh pocket or Backplate Pak

Halcyon now includes a Semi-Closed Circuit 60lb. Lift Bag in their lift device product line. Halcyon’s SCC 60 was designed to allow for easy lift inflation for a wet suit diver who wouldn’t otherwise have a spare low-pressure inflation hose handy. Designed to be filled by a diver’s second stage regulator, the SCC 60 combines the ease of inflation of a traditional bell-bottomed lift bag with an over-pressure release valve to dial in a precise amount of lift and to prevent damage caused by over-inflation at depth.

CC 80 & 185
Of course, Halcyon’s Closed Circuit 80 and 185lb. lift bags are still the industry standard for technical applications where precise control over lift and surface control are essential.

Halcyon’s series of Diver Alert Markers provide maximum visibility and redundant flotation at the surface.

Open water divers should always carry a marker buoy they can send up in the event of separation from buddy, primary group, or boat.
