are already a Nitrox diver, so you know the wonderful
benefits that come with diving Nitrox. Now, you
have a desire to learn more and experience Nitrox
diving at an advanced level. Do you want to dive
to over 100 feet and use:
• Nitrox mixes for dives to 150 ft
• Nitrox for decompression diving
• Nitrox mixing from 21% up through 100%
• speed up decompression by using high
concentrations of oxygen
Then this class is for you!
Interested in the rebreathers? This class
is a prerequisite for the rebreather and other
mixed-gas classes.
Interested in extended range diving or Trimix?
Advanced Nitrox is a prerequisite for both of
these classes.
Class Details
WHO:
Any advanced certified diver age 18–80+ with
25 logged dives, must also have Nitrox certification.

HOW TO SIGN UP:
A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required

NECESSITIES:
Students need a 40 cu ft pony tank which
is oxygen-cleaned and a 1st/2nd stage regulator
that is oxygen-cleaned. It is also suggested
that students have a large volume cylinder,
cave reel and a lift bag.
Full SCUBA gear is needed for the dives. If
you don’t own you own equipment, rentals are
available through Aqua Safaris SCUBA Center.
CERTIFICATION:
TDI (Technical Diving International) certification
is multi level certification. TDI is an international
organization, recognized world wide.
Nitrox certification has been available since
1985 for the recreational diver. We believe
that TDI has made certification more accessible
by making the course user-friendly.
The advanced Nitrox certification is an excellent
extension to your basic Nitrox certification
and will give you the ability to continue to
dive on Nitrox while maximizing the advantages
with the guidance and knowledge of an instructor
at your side.
