Become an
underwater tour guide and respected member of
the dive community! Being a Divemaster can be
an exciting and rewarding experience. You will
be helping people having fun diving and help insure
that they have a safe diving experience.
Topics include:
- diving first aid
- accident prevention
- accident management
- diving ailment recognition
- treatment and prevention
- diving physics and physiology
- review of diving rescue and search and recovery.
And that’s not all! You will be provided
opportunities to aid in teaching Basic SCUBA
classes to gain valuable experience as a divemaster.
Skills you perfect as a divemaster are essential
in becoming a SCUBA Instructor.
If you are interested in a career in diving
or just teaching a few classes, this is the
first step. Aqua Safaris SCUBA center will be
offering a NAUI Divemaster course several times
a year depending on demand. The SCUBA leadership
role in diving is responsible, social and fun.
You can even make it a career!
Class Details:
WHO:
Divers who have completed a SCUBA Rescue
class with a minimum of 25 logged dives.

NECESSITIES:
As a Divemaster, you will need to have all of
your scuba equipment including:
- at least one tank
- regulator with console and octopus
- BC
- wetsuit or drysuit
- 6.5 mm (or thicker) hood
- dive knife
- whistle
- small slate
- log book
