This course is a comprehensive, hands-on program where participants will learn the fundamentals of gas blending. Topics will include design and construction of blending systems, blending methods, oxygen handling, mixing formulas, mixing computer software, compressors, filtration, air testing and safety precautions. Participants will be mixing and analyzing gases using partial pressure methods both by cascade and oxygen booster.

Upon completion of the course, graduates will be certified as Nitrox Gas Blenders capable of professionally blending Nitrox for divers from 21% through 100% oxygen mixes.

Advanced Gas Blender

This course can be added to the above class for an additional $199.00. This class will include mixing Trimix and Heliox, and a separate Advanced Gas Blender certification will be issued to course graduates. This will enable successful candidates to professionally blend Trimix and Heliox to be used by divers.
