High School Students

WHEN:
Classes start twice a month depending on demand: the first Tuesday (6pm–9:30 pm or the third Saturday 3–9:30 pm). Classes run for four consecutive weeks either meeting Tuesday & Thursday or Saturday evenings. The ocean dives for both classes are on Saturday & Sunday 8 am–5 pm following your last class meeting. Two additional dives are on the following Saturday from 8 am–5 pm, but are not required for certification.

Each student is required to provide their own basic gear:

• Mask
• Snorkel

If you do not already have this gear, do not run out and purchase it. Come to Aqua Safaris; we offer low prices and high quality gear to our scuba students. Aqua Safaris will provide this package at a discounted price of $159. Alternatively, you can apply this discount to an upgraded package. The gear is guaranteed to be the lowest price in Santa Cruz. We offer sound advice and set you up with what you need; we will spend the time to educate you so you can make the best selection of equipment for your needs.

We also recommend that each student have their own dive text book ($19.95), dive tables ($10.00) and log book ($12.00).
