Ocean kayaking is a new and fast growing water sport and now there are special kayaks just for divers! In this class you will learn the necessary techniques to have an enjoyable dive from a kayak.

No longer will you have that long kick out to your favorite dive site. With the use of the kayak, you’ll arrive refreshed and ready to begin the dive hassle-free, as well as being able to access remote dive sites.

Kayaking diving will allow you to enjoy the beauty above and below the water. If conditions aren’t what you want, simply spend the day on top of the water. You’ll get closer to those marine mammals and you won’t have to work hard to get there!

 Any certified diver age12–80+

WHERE:
Aqua Safaris SCUBA Center

WHEN:
The class is offered on the last Sunday of each month from 6–8 pm at Aqua Safaris. Ocean dives are the next two Saturdays from 8:30 am–5:30 pm.

NECESSITIES:
Scuba divers taking the Kayak Specialty Course are required to have Scuba Diver certification card and scuba gear.

If you do not own your own scuba gear (wetsuit, tanks, BC, regulator & console), rentals are available for the duration of the class for $100.00 from Aqua Safaris Scuba Center.

First class meeting:
Bring a note book, pencil and your dive card/log.

Diving days:
Bring full scuba gear, including tanks and weight belts.
