Trimix is designed to make diving safer for those divers who have a need to dive over 150 ft. This course teaches divers how to eliminate the narcotic effect of nitrogen by the use of Trimix as a diving gas. During the course, we will refine stage decompression skills utilizing two or more Nitrox mixes. Course diving depths are in the area of 250 ft.

Successful participants will be certified to a maximum depth of 330 ft. TDI Certifications provided include Basic and Advanced Trimix.

Dives will be conducted in the beautiful Monterey Bay Sanctuary—dive where no one has gone before!

The Monterey Trench is a fantastic training location. Once you learn here, you can dive with confidence almost anywhere. Water temperatures range from 45–53° F (drysuits are required). Currents can be strong with visibility ranges from 20 to 100 ft. Hang times can be interesting, watching the abundance of plankton float by, and there is often the possibility of playing with seals and sea lions.

This course can also be conducted at your choice of dive travel destinations. For example, we have conducted the course in Hawaii, Florida, British Columbia, and Cozumel, Mexico.

This is a Technical Diving International (TDI) course. Upon completion of the course, successful participants will be certified as Advanced Trimix Tech Divers.
