Cozumel is well known as one of the premier diving destinations in the world. Carnival Week on Cozumel is one of the most colorful and biggest celebrations in Mexico. It is a week of parades, dance, costumes, music and street carnivals. Almost all work stops and everyone joins in the dancing and celebration. Schools, clubs, and community organizations spend weeks making floats, costumes, and practicing their dances and music. The competition increases every year and the result is evident in the elaborate costumes and floats.

HOW TO SIGN UP:
A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required to hold your spot. Remaining due four weeks prior to departure date.

TRIP NECESSITIES:
This trip is definitely a dive vacation, we recommend that you consider packing the following items:(pack light!)

• Dive gear (except tank & weight belt)
• Dive computer*
• Wetsuit (3–5 mm)
• Bathing suit
• Towel
• Sunscreen
• Hat
• Sunglasses
• Mosquito repellent
• Party clothes for evening events
• Cool/comfortable clothing
• Camera/film

* Dive computers are not required, but they are highly recommend because it will significantly increase your bottom time, diving flexibility and safety. If your dive buddy is on computer, you must be also.

Dive Trip Addition:
Interested in exploring cavern and/or cave diving? Here’s your chance. After a week in Cozumel, we’ll head over to the mainland of Mexico for some training in Cenote diving.

This class will take an extra four days and will combine a Cavern & Intro to Cave-Diving course. Cost is $600 and includes 8 dives with single tanks/dual outlet “H” valves or double tanks with dual outlet manifold including reels/spools, seven foot hose, Halcyon or DiveRite BC with stainless steel backplate, DiveRite 50 watt primary light, dive site fees, refreshments, certification fee & transportation from Playa Del Carmen.
