Aqua Safaris operates a full-service dive travel
agency. Our travel philosophy is: lots of fun,
no hassles, to exotic and adventurous destinations
with world-class diving (see our destination list
on the left; click on any for details, or check the upcoming special trips at the bottom of this page). We carefully
plan trips to the best dive sites in the world
and also structure our trips so that we also enjoy
and explore the local culture.
We lead almost all of our group trips and have
over ten years of experience in leading dive
travel expeditions. We have been to most of
these destinations previously and know what
to expect to ensure a smooth, event-filled trip.
We can show you how to get the most out of your
dive travel and have a large library of video
tapes and other information on our destinations.
Our trips range from our inexpensive Baja Cooperative
Adventure ($475) to very high-end trips at luxury
resorts. Most of our group trips are for divers
and non-divers alike, so if some of your group
do not dive they will still have a great time.
With a few exceptions, our trips are structured
to accommodate divers of all levels. Additionally,
we provide instructors on some trips so that
we can offer on-trip certifications, both in
Basic/Advanced SCUBA Diving and various specialties
appropriate to specific destinations. Please
ask!
For a summary of all of our planned trips please
see our Schedules
page or click on any of the specific locations
in the list at the left to learn about trips
to those places. Be sure to check out our Liveaboards
page for information about dive travel opportunities
based on shipboard. Upcoming trips are also
featured below.
For general travel information, check our Travel
Tips page. Most of our trips are suitable
for families! See our Kids’ Travel page for
hints on traveling with children. And for exciting
pictures from past trips, visit our Photo
Index.
And if you need gear for your trip, we can help! Visit our Retail
store or our on-line
store for all your gear needs.
While
our safety record is great, we do recommend
that you join the Divers
Alert Network (DAN) and buy a version of
their insurance coverage. If you should ever
need to be evacuated to a recompression chamber,
transportation and treatment costs can be very
expensive from some locations and may not be
covered adequately by your regular health insurance.
