Abalone Diving on California’s North
Coast
Sea Ranch/Abalone Feast
Abalone Divers Needed
Enjoy the California North Coast at its best.
Sea Ranch is an exclusive private community
that restricts abalone collecting on a 10-mile
coastal section to hunters that own or rent
houses. We rent one of these huge homes for
our trips—fabulous vacation homes with hot tub,
sauna and swimming pool and recreational area
access. And the diving! There are abs everywhere—even
five feet deep or less. For anyone who wants
to give ab-diving a try—this is the place!
This mini weekend getaway is fun for all—hot
tub, sauna, swimming pool, tennis courts,
golf, wine tasting and great food.
We are organizing trips for the months of April,
August and November 2004 (exact dates TBA).
Two nights and food for only $150 per person
in a double room or $75 for shared space. We’ll
show you how to catch abs and clean and eat
them—yum! Call Aqua Safaris now: (831)
479-4386; space is limited.
Ab divers take heed!
In case you are not aware of it, the Fish &
Game laws for taking abalone have changed. There
is no abalone collecting south of San Francisco
and an ab punch card is now required along with
your fishing license.
