Palau:
Dive among huge schools of tuna, barracuda and
sharks. Experience the sensation of flying under
water when you attach yourself to a reef in
strong current at the Blue corner. See mushroom
shaped islands. Swim with non-stinging jelly
fish in a brackish lake on one of Palau’s
many islands.
• diving in Chandelier cave
• explore hiking in the jungle
Truk:
Truk is where the US Navy trapped and sank the
Japanese fleet during WW II. Numerous ships
are preserved as they were in 1944! Dive back
into history, check out the incredible life
that has made these ships home: corals, sponges,
eels, crabs, sharks, etc. Join us for the best
diving our ocean has to offer. Truk is a diver’s
paradise. Highlights include:
• the best wreck dives of Truk lagoon
• staying at the best resort in Truk
• travel back… history preserved underwater
Includes air from SFO, diving & resort
(two weeks).
Yap
An extra three-day stop-over in Yap is available
and worthwhile. Yap is made famous for everyday
encounters with giant Manta Rays with wing spans
in excess of 20 feet. The reefs are also beautiful
as are the native people of Yap. Culturally
the people of Yap are unique. The wealthy families
in Yap have huge, round carved stones in front
of their huts—they trade these stones among
themselves as currency. It’s worth checking
out as are the friendly people and the great
food.
